The average bee colony has to travel over 55,000 miles and visit over 2,000,000 flowers to produce 1lb of honey. The average bee only produces 1/2 teaspoon of honey in its lifetime. This work highlights the dedication of the honey bee through a depiction of beauty and sacrifice.
